What the site is
Vieques.com is an information and planning guide. We are not a travel agent, tour operator, hotel, airline or ferry service, and we do not take bookings or payments. When you book something, you are dealing with the business that provides it, under its own terms.
Accuracy and changes
Hours, prices, ferry and flight schedules, road and beach conditions, and business details change without notice. Information on this site is provided as is, with no promise that it is complete, current or free of mistakes. If you find an error, please tell us at hello@vieques.com and we will fix it.
Your safety
Vieques is a wild place. Many beaches have no lifeguards, roads can be rough, and the water, weather, wildlife and heat carry real risks. Descriptions of beaches, roads, tours and activities on this site are general information, not a guarantee that a place or activity is safe for you. You are responsible for your own decisions and for the safety of the people with you. Follow posted signs and local authorities, and ask local operators about current conditions.
Listings, directory and sponsored content
Business listings and the Directory are compiled from the businesses themselves and from public sources. A listing is not an endorsement or a recommendation, and we do not guarantee the quality, safety or availability of any business. Some businesses pay for placement, and those listings are labeled, for example as Featured or Sponsored. Paying for placement does not change what we say about a business’s facts.
Links to other sites and affiliate links
The site links to businesses and other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Some links are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you book or buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Those links are marked as sponsored in the page code.
What you send us
If you send us a message, correction, photo or other material, you confirm that you have the right to share it. You allow us to use it to operate and improve the site, and to publish a correction or quote with your name only if you agree. We keep your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Our content
The text, design, logo, maps and original photographs on this site belong to Dialed In. Media or the credited photographers and are protected by copyright. You may share a link to any page and quote short excerpts with credit. Please do not copy, republish or sell our content, and do not copy or scrape the Directory or listings to build another directory or mailing list, without written permission.
Using the site responsibly
Please do not misuse the site: no attempts to break into it, overload it, or collect its data with automated tools, and no posting of anything unlawful or harmful.
Limits of our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, Dialed In. Media is not liable for any loss, injury or expense that comes from using this site or relying on its information, including from a trip, booking, activity or business you found here. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Puerto Rico and the applicable laws of the United States. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Puerto Rico.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
